here's a quick photo tutorial on the plaid nails i just did, hope you'll find it useful :D cause i had to study so many plaid patterns to simplify it for a nail design heh. all details were drawn on with a toothpick if not simply painted on with normal sized nail polish brushes.

on holiday and still doing my best hahah, this is arezia's no. 12- an adorable light pink that i just got from watson's in hong kong the other day. couldn't wait to try it out. the bottles are tiny but they come in SO MANY different colours i couldn't resist picking up a few :] and it goes on quite smoothly although some colours-like 12- are quite sheer so i had to paint almost 4-5 coats :/

 on the other hand, the finish is very shiny so you don't need a top coat for the shine. the chipping is another matter, being very affordable, the polish chips quite easily so be careful if you're going sans-topcoat.

here are the few i got, from left to right: 4 (navy), 12 (light pink), 7 (pinkish mauve), 2 (shimmering icy pale blue)

in singapore, you can get these (AREZIA polishes) in sasa. they're really cheap and fun to just play around with the colours :D enjoy!

etude house's lucidarling nail polish under essie's 'matte about you'

i can't find the product code on the bottle of the lucidarling polish but it's this lovely peach colour with some orange-y flashes when you hold it at the right angle to some light. this is the first time i'm trying mattifying my nails so i just did a simple swatch, nail art will come later :D
